First of all, this is NOT the same watch as the Collector Set I sold some months ago. I traded a couple of watches I was willing to sell for this set - now a great opportunity for someone to get an almost perfect Straight Writing Speedy here.

So what have we got here? An all original 145.022-69 with a Straight Writing caseback in a perfect conservation condition.

The dial has no damage and the lume (obviously tritium) is intact. The hands also have a tritium lume and present a beautiful yellow patina.

The B2 DNN Bezel is absolutely perfect, in line with the watch. The good eye will spot the Ω logo on the crystal, pictured above.

That case is definitely one of the best -69 cases I've had. It's fat, it's sharp, it's great. Look at the flat parts below the lugs... I think we can say it is untouched.

The caseback is also in a perfect condition, (now) protected with a sticker. Obviously, correct reference engraved inside.

1st generation 1171/633 (11) bracelet, perfect condition, obviously screwed links, good up to a 21cm wrist.

The movement is like new and bears the serial 31.313.xxx which is obviously correct for the 145.022-69 Straight Writing. I do not know the service history of this watch but it's been checked by Romain from www.atelier-h13.ch last week, who said it is good for a while. Please note that it's a vintage watch and its water resistance was not tested and is not guaranteed. The buyer has to be aware of that and wear the watch with that in mind.

Accessories in the set :

- Commemorative Crater Box in a perfect conservation condition
- Warranty booklet (unfortunately blank) from 9.1969
- Omega Red plastic folder to store the documents safely

To recap :

- All original Straight Writing on 1171/633 first execution in a perfect condition
- Movement checked by my watchmaker, good for a while
- Crater box
- Booklet, folder
- CONDITION ( ! )

What you see is what you get.

Terms and conditions :
I am a private collector and will set the post OHPF after getting the first PM saying "I will buy this watch at your price".

10500 CHF wired to my Swiss bank account for a local sale in Switzerland.
OR
11800 USD / 9900 EUR / 8800 GBP
wired directly to my Transferwise or Revolut account for a sale abroad. Fully insured shipping from Switzerland to wherever Fedex can deliver, included.

I am pricing this set according to the collector category of Speedmaster101. So basically you agree with the prices of SP101, you are getting the crater box (you know its value, don't you?) and documents of the set for free.

Returns are accepted only if grossly misrepresented. You will get what you see in these pictures which are of a decent quality, unedited and high resolution, so I don't believe there is any chance of misrepresentation. Feel free to ask for special details or angles you want to see better, prior buying.

Damn!

I can’t figure which is nicer, the box or the watch.

This won’t last. Particularly at that price.

That is an impressive package - GLWS.

Does the museum have one of these in their inventory? I can’t believe they’d ever find another in such outstanding condition and with all its bits and bobs 👍

Thanks for all your kind words, folks 😟 happy to offer this kind of specialties to the OF community !

I don’t know if they do have one of those. From what I could observe, they aren’t really looking for exceptionally well conserved pieces but rather for honest (and hopefully correct) examples. Since this watch is not an exceptionally rare model per se, I do not think they would value its exceptional condition enough to be willing to upgrade theirs. 😉

@kov do you have a time machine?

Yes - the good old community version, they call it "collectors network". 😉

BTW the set is now pending funds, thanks to all who inquired and - once again - thanks to OF for the space 👍
