·Hello All
Keeping to my plan, one watch came in, so one's gotta go.
Excuse the small dust particles please!
I recently acquired, here on the forum, a 145.022-69 Speedmaster, so I'm getting rid of my 145.022 1980's model.
It's in good condition, running VERY well (I timed it for 4 days straight and it was -1 second a day).
Chronograph runs perfectly and resets to zero properly.
I've only owned the watch for about a year (maybe a bit less). The jeweler I bought it from said when they opened the watch, it looked like it had been serviced within the last five years, but I personally have not had it serviced in the time I've owned it.
Case is in nice condition. No real dents or dings. There are some scratches on the back of the lugs from the bracelet end links, as one would expect.
The dial is nice too. Faded, with a creamy off white patina (tritium lume). There's paint missing from the minute totalizer (as pictured) as well as from the sub seconds hand (on the bottom round part) The two main hands seem in good condition save for the small paint chip on the very bottom of the hour hand (sometimes hard to see).
Also, there is, above the minutes subdial, an ever so slight spot. You can't really see it most of the time. Usually only when in direct harsh light.
SEE BELOW PHOTO FOR ALL IMPERFECTIONS (Pointing Red Arrows)
Bezel is nice.
Crystal is nice. The jeweler told me they saw a small omega symbol in the middle. They told me it was a very small one, which required a loupe to see. I personally have never seen it. Could be a replacement, but I'm not sure.
I'm selling the watch on a black generic leather strap, with steel hardware.
The photos of the case back and movement are from the original jewelers auction. I have not had the guts to remove the case back for my own photos!
The rest were taken yesterday, as to reflect its current condition.
I'm asking $1800 for the watch (I will cover shipping and Paypal fees). CONUS only at the moment.
Recently have sold 3 watches on this forum and watchuseek as HAL10000. Great references as both a buyer and seller.
Message me if you're interested or email me at [email protected]
