Rebooting this listing:

The watch sold a long time ago and I was paid but no address was ever given despite repeated emails etc. I still hold the funds 2 years later. I can only assume something has happened to the buyer.

It was subsequently never listed back for sale as it was obviously sold that's until now. It has sat in my safety deposit box since it arrived to me in the same condition as you see it. It is still winding as smooth as butter.

It’s pointless it sat there doing nothing so it’s back up for sale. Should (I doubt it) the original buyer come forward, I will happily refund the money I am still sat on plus the interest it’s accumulated (which isn’t much as our rates are on the floor). Until that day comes I will safeguard the cash.

So...

It’s a Omega Speedmaster 145.012-67 (kinda)

To be 100% open and clear the following parts are service replacements:

Mid case - Mint Service replacement
Case back - Mint Service replacement - Good to conserve an original case back.
Bezel - Service replacement
Pushers - Service replacement
Dust cover - Service Replacement
Plexi - Service replacement

The hands and dial: (Stepped) is 100% original and looks stunning in the flesh. The lume matches on both. The dial has no damage at all.

The movement: 321 with the serial 250095xx marked OXG which is an identifier for the US market where this watch would have been supplied to new. The serial dates it to 1967. It is also super clean as it was serviced a while ago and never worn since. It winds super smooth, hands turn freely and chrono works perfectly.

I would like to sell it as a complete watch for someone use as a daily rather than dismantle it and sell it off separately. The dial and movement have a large value.

My asking is £4850 FIRM. BANK TRANSFER ONLY. Shipped via DHL worldwide with insurance.

How did i get to my price?

321 Movement mint and running £2k
Stepped applied logo dial with lume £1400
Hands with matching lume £1k
All the other parts £450

I didn’t want to ‘break’ it down chaps. I think it’s a good daily and has charm.

Perhaps this is not the right place to discuss this, but couldn't you reverse the funds transfer? It seems awkward to keep the payment without shipping the watch.

You have missed the whole reason why I can’t ship the watch.... I was never given an address.

The funds landed and I’ve never heard from the guy since. I have no bank details to send the funds back to either so that's also impossible. This is why I can only think something has happened to the guy.

Ive spent 2 years emailing the guy and even put read receipts through apps to see if he or anyone actually reads the emails - No one has read any.

I have the funds and the watch - Hell I could have blown the funds and then sold the watch but I haven't. Now that would have been awkward!
