I have inherited an Omega Speedmaster 145.003. It needs a fair amount of work done it and I was wondering where in the UK would be good to do this? Any more information about the watch would be greatly appreciated and where and with who I should contact if I want to sell it.

Many thanks.

Listen to @Spacefruit above and to learn more, visit his site, https://speedmaster101.com/ 👍

In regards to selling you won't be able to here on OF unless your post count is above 200 but I'm sure you will receive some private messages... but I'd suggest reading up before making any decisions.

Oh, and welcome!

Agree, Simon is the way to go with this.
Do you have a photo showing the pusher stems a bit more please?
I would be very interested to see what is inside the case back, could it be another 105.003-65 with SP stamp.
Looking at the chronograph hand and the serial it could well be.
If it is, the pushers on these watches are the larger type, I have just found another SP, one of the previous owners had tried to put smaller pusher caps on it to make it look like normal spec which were not correct.
See here> https://omegaforums.net/threads/a-105-003-65-sp.88553/

Please update when you find out.

Cheers, Michael

And a chrono hand

Thats arguable (on @michael e ’ observations and depending on what’s printed in the caseback). This one is there and works fine 😉 Just us pedants will want to ‘correct’ it...

Ok, WTF is going on here?
Straight lug case and a mix of parts. But the comments so far are a bit dubious. Micheal's not withstanding.

I have a very strong belief that some late 105.003s were fitted with upgraded pushers, crown and flat tail Chrono hand at the factory with the inner case backs being marked 105.003-65 SP.
