Mine has serial 24.956.15x
Holy moly! That's really really REALLY close!
Did you guess right of did you follow the Watchfid ad? 😀

Mine was produced on the 1st of September 1967 and delivered to Italy.

I'm quite new to vintage, but that's quite special? I think it's incredible, especially given both look so similar (patina)
Here’s my CB.. 10 years of ownership.. Doesn’t get much wrist time 😕
..original “fat neck” pushers and dial in sunlight looks a very dark brown 😮

Just wondering, this serial was produced a couple of weeks before mine and the serial starts with 25.440.
Does the CB case has a different serial range?

Here is a ”Swedish” 105.012-66 HF that found a new owner!
Even with the blemishes on the dial, serviceparts etc…it looks like a fun and nice daily wearer!

I would never think to wear a tan fabric strap on a Speedy- but this really looks good! Nice Lugs!l,

Hi @kewteddington , and welcome to OF!
You got a really nice CB, please share some more pictures, and maybe a Speedy story?

I cannot take credit for coming up with the idea... just for the shade of 'tan' / grime..

It's a White NASA watchband (beta cloth style) - P/N SEB12100030-205
"This genuine NASA design makes for a stunning bright white watchband that gives the watch an unmistakable space-strap look. It's a rarely seen watchband only produced by NASA during the development stages of the Block II Apollo Command and Service Module (CSM). Though never flown in space during Apollo..."

These white Velcro watch straps were used by NASA between 1966 and 1969. AFAIK, these were only space-flown during the ten days Apollo 7 mission in October 1968.

I have to give it to the Kizzi website, some amazing work on creating that onboard Apollo 7 image by using a 16mm movie screenshot...
This isn't even an official NASA photo number... so well done, although we should avoid AI at all costs and stick to official NASA photo numbers.

They are both lovely watches in very good condition. One has a B2 close T and the other a B3 spaced T dial. Does this differentiate the value?

Ken, are you thinking about the two that I posted side by side?

Aahh....well, I think that the close T are a bit rarer, but the value would be the same (I think...)!

Found this old post!

Amazing CB´s, and interesting info!

Excellent read, thanks 👍 and not just for the CB influencelines and polishing, but
Now i finally also have a feel to "see" the lower pusher caps, been struggling to distinguish those like in this - 64 example from ebay with incorrect ones if i am right ?
