This is to me the perfect polo shirt watch and is low key, blending in nicely .. no brick on the wrist and wears a bit larger due to the black insert me thinks...

My watch guy took the 2nd pic in his “studio”...

Just need to locate a deployment clasp at a reasonable price and I’m good to go

Nice. But out of curiosity, doesn’t that watch have a blue dial? It’s not clear from your photos, but all the models I’ve seen have a blue dial? If so, why did you go for the black bezel insert over blue?

I've only seen it with a blue dial (the omega website confirms it too).
I still like the combo though!;)

Yes, blue dial, the main reason is because I got hold of the impossible to find original double ridged curved end strap in black.. and the brown strap idea was history.

I also wanted the watch to wear a bit bigger and the chrome bezel looked smaller contrasting on the dial. However, unexpectedly this dial just can’t look blue anymore. It looks grey even in bright sunlight with the black bezel. So it’s probably a Smokey dark blue I think and showed blue due to the original mirror polished look of the original bezel

I’m no photographer but hopefully this pic in the sun this morning explains... I’m really stoked, was a bit worried about the blue, but there are some great black/blue combos out there like the Breitling SO Heritage 2

I love this with the black bezel! Never cared for it in silver. Is that a factory part or aftermarket?

JW... it’s a factory bezel I picked up for $50 ... my watch guy installed it and replaced also the rached bit which was a bit worn on my watch. It’s a bit unique I think, would love to know if there is any other like it ...

Edit- can’t even wear it because no deployment clasp yet and I refuse to bend that new strap back as required to secure to wrist.
