Finally got some Omega consolation.

Hi everyone, well today November 24 I at long last got my beautiful Constellation. I bought it here from member Hoi, whom I'd like to thank for his patience during the purchase. This watch is very special to me as it is to replace my late fathers Seamaster 600 which I tragically lost. It has the same beads of rice bracelet and really looks quite similar whilst also being a step up. I got the watch serviced in Canada and then send on to the U.S. this was way back in late July. Being a bit of a skinflint I asked friends in Florida to bring the watch to Bogota to save on possible import duties and it lingerer there a month or so before finally arriving this afternoon. My father bought his Seamaster I believe on trip to Oslo in Norway in the early 60's and later was very proud to obtain the lovely B.O.R. bracelet. I inherited the watch maybe some 40 years ago obviously it had great sentimental value, so much so that once I risked my life by refusing to hand it over to a knife wielding mugger. Not a good decision. I lost my beloved watch in Bogota in 2008, so I was a dream of mine for some 16 years to replace it. I joined these wonderful forums and quite quickly saw this fantasic Contellation for sale. I am over the moon.
