This is a watch passed down to my from my grandad when he passed away, he received it as a gift from the Sheikh of Bahrain, late 1960s I believe. I can't find anything with the same code on the back anywhere I've looked just wondering if anyone could help. The code written on the back is '166036-TOOL 107'. It also has a smaller '523' engraved upon it. Would appreciate any help.

I gathered some pieces of info in that old thread, maybe they could be useful for you. Tool 107 simply indicated the instrument, the tool, needed to open the rear of the watch.

Actually it its the Omega tool for removing the crystal, the back does not open on these, the movement is accessed from the from after removal of the crystal.
