Hi,

I'm looking for a steel sweep seconds replacement hand for a ref. 166.003, cal. 565.

Please get in touch if you have one.

Thanks!

I have been working a bit with the 550 based movements lately.

The seconds hand is strongly related to the case and dial.

refs give 018 for the hole diameter. +-001.
According to the charts almost any Omega sweep hand will fit since this seems to be the size the used most. This chart predates the 565 which is based on the 550/470 base caliber.

You do not say were you are located.

A quick check shows that Paylac has a set for deVille listed https://www.watchmaterial.com/hands-for-omega-seamaster-deville-vintage/

OFrei might have something as well. I bought some of their assortments. Most are 020 so fit too loose.

Such sites are hard to search. I did not look at the UK and EU suppliers.

These places are fairly well picked over, sometimes one gets lucky with the assortments.

Finding a branded NOS hand is going to be really difficult. There are quite a few of us looking for the same thing.

Hopefully these charts will help others.

Good luck on your search.

@sheepdoll thank you so much for your time and effort. I am based in Denmark. I have had a look at a lot of different sites but somehow it seems that the gold hand is easier to find than one in steel. I am okay with it not being NOS. I’ll definately make sure to save you chart!
