Worst photos ever. I don't understand the part about the authorized Omega dealer being scared to open the watch.

I received the same talk about “not having the correct tools to open the caseback when I visited the local Omega service centre back when I first started collecting.

And they wanted to send it to Switzerland ::facepalm1::

Wow I have some old Gruens one from the 40s and had a local jeweler open them. I may Inquire him to open it.

Anyone can open this case. It's a simple screw-in back. It could be on pretty tight, but there's only one way to find out.
