I was lucky enough to purchase the new Seamaster 300m Tokyo 2020 edition today. It’s absolutely stunning. The blue and white goes together so well, I was concerned about the legibility of the face but the dark blue hands really pop. Quite possibly the nicest Seamaster I have ever seen.

I’ve just read through the website page for this, and it doesn’t seem to mention being a limited edition of 2020 watches any more.
Very strange!
It still says it for the Tokyo Aqua Terra, and specifically mentions the edition number being on the back, but I can’t see it for the diver 300M.
Do yours have an edition number on?

Nope, mine has the traditional serial number only on the caseback so I'm guessing it will just be a special edition.

Congrats!!! Tried one yesterday and it is on my wish list. Had in the past black and white & black version but white & blue seems to be spot on!

Is there anything special added in the box? Any booklet about Olympic Games & Omega?

I agree it’s one of the nicest 300m’s I’ve seen. Love the blue and white.

Love it - congrats to all. I noticed it’s on the U.K. website also to buy. I’ll have to stop looking at it.....

Congrats! Slightly off-topic, noticing the red travel box - any comment on that giveaway from the dealer, i.e. is this the new Service box?

That would be awesome.

No edition number. Apparently it was originally supposed to be limited to 2022 pieces but they changed their mind - they even posted this on social media and then removed it.

Nothing that I noticed in regards to a booklet but I will double check.

Unfortunately I have no details on the travel box other than to say it’s lovely and I can’t wait to use it.

I wonder why it changed from limited edition to not limited.

If it was purely down to it getting a positive reaction online and someone at Omega thinking they could shift more than 2000, that leaked Swiss Army special should be launching for the general public soon!

I had mine over a week and love it. Last month was my birthday and I was going to get the white dial and black bezel but a couple of weeks before I saw this one on line and called my OB right away to get it. They gave me some conmemorative pins for the Olimpics and the new rubber band for the deployment clasp. I had to buy the buckle but oh well. Now I am just waiting for the band to arrive.

Stunning. Wear it in good health. Would love to see a pic of the pins. What rubber strap did you order?

It’s supposed to be like the current one but it uses a folding clasp. Here are some pictures

Those pins look cool! I'm a bit bummed I didn't get it with my purchase so I just asked my boutique if they could gift them to me as well even though they said they would fully cover the new blue rubber strap as an accommodation.

Good eye. LOL I didn’t pay attention until now. They gave them to me and put them together with all the other goodies I have gotten from them from previous purchases. They must had some leftovers and decided to give them to me. Still free.

The pins are very cool. Thanks for posting and I look forward to seeing a photo when you put it on the new strap.
