·Hi guys, I picked up this Omega Seamaster Polaris Chronograph 386.1031.1 recently. It was a spur of the moment purchase and I feel I got an ok deal. It was $389USD in the end.
So what do I have here? From what I know about Quartz chronographs, the hands not aligning isnt a great sign. Is there a way to reset the hands on this watch? Does anyone know much about this model, such as is this real 18k gold in the case? Is the crystal sapphire? It comes with an immense nineteen and a half link bracelet, which is awesome, plus two spare links were shipped with the watch which were not disclosed in the auction. Bonus. Is the clasp meant to come apart as pictured or should it remained fastened and slip off the wrist? It was listed as having a broken clasp but it seems ok to me.
