Hi people from OF, I just purchased a used omega seamaster deville dial from ebay and wondering if it is a redial, since the writing looks really sharp. Any comments are appreciated, thanks.

It’s original but obviously the condition is poor.

Thank for the response, the dial is cheap which i will use to replace my 166.020 seamaster cheap redial. As long as it is orginal i am quite happy with it. 😀

I agree with David that it is original but is in really poor shape. It also doesn’t seem to have dial feet. Probably more of a headache than it’s worth.

By dial feet, do you mean the 2 small rods that probe out of the dial?

100 original to my eye. I actually like the patina and condition. I would have no issue looking at this on my wrist. Saving another one from the dumpster gets a thumbs up from me. 👍

I might try to lightly wipe the oil residue just south of the date window on the perimeter and buff the stick indices. Just be careful. Cheers

I have this exact same dial in nearly the same condition to include the missing feet. What the watch maker before me did was hot glue. I'm not sure that's the answer either. For now, it's an extra dial I have laying around. Maybe I'll try to sell it.

Good luck with your sale. 👍
