Hi guys,

I came upon this Omega Seamaster Cosmic. I only have these two photos, I've asked the owner to send me one of the caseback and movement.

Nevertheless, I would like to know whether the dial is original. I've never come across one of those dials... Roman numerals? If it's original, looks pretty attractive to me!

i am not sure the hands are correct for that version
hopefully some more experienced guys can take a look at it

Anyone?

So while the dial design is original (furniture, numerals), it appears that it might be refinished to me, but the quality of the pics are poor so I can't say. The 'Seamaster' and 'Omega' look good, but the rest of the writing looks...off. Again, could just be a case of poor picture quality.

As @jeppe888 stated, the hands are not correct for that model, and I would agree.

Cosmics came with a huge range of dial designs - if you like C-shaped cases, you’re bound to find at least one Cosmic dial you’ll like.

As @Wetworks has said, that dial design is genuine but the text on this example looks a bit iffy to me, even in the poor photographs. I’m a bit suspicious of the first ‘e’ in ‘Seamaster’ and the word ‘Cosmic’ appears to have irregular sized gaps between irregular sized letters.

I see what you mean, I'll ask for better quality photos.
