·What makes a great watch? Something that can be worn at every occasion and fit in just fine. I believe that the cosmic 2000 is just that watch. From its beauty to its ruggedness, from the accurate movement to the 60 meter resistance to water, this watch will out perform others easily.
I just received my first omega last week. It is the cosmic 2000, 1020 movement. I have had it restored, I can show you the before and after pictures, pretty amazing. I have been so impressed with it, it looks great when I am iny suit for work or when I go to the beach. It shines just enough to catch the eye of the right person, but not showing off. It is amazing how well this watch has held up, almost 40 years old and it looks brand new.
If you want a watch that will last you forever then buy an omega, and I love the cosmic 2000 because it's the most classic of all the omega's. I know it's just my opinion, but the cosmic brings some of the best features and parts of all the omega's. From the water resistance to the elegance, the cosmic has it all.
