Omega Seamaster Caliber 562 - stuck between 6:53 and 9:48

Hello fellow Omega enthusiasts,

I'm facing an issue with my vintage Seamaster Caliber 562 (166.002 from the 1960's).

When I'm trying adjusting the hour the crown and hands gets stuck between 6:53 and 9:48. The second hand is running but I can't adjust beyond these two bounds. I haven't applied any force to it and adjusted it back so the small reserve won't go beyond the 9:48 point as I'm afraid it might break something.

What kind of issue am I facing here ? Which part might need replacing and might it be expensive ? I'm kinda fond of my vintage Omega but as this watch is barely worth a couple hundreds of dollars/euros, very expensive servicing seems pointless.

Here's a video displaying the issue at... hand (pun not intended).

Any advice ? Thanks a lot ;-)

It seems pointless for us to guess what is wrong since the watch will obviously require inspection and repair by a qualified watchmaker. If you can’t afford the repair at present perhaps you should let the movement run down and put it away while you save for the repair.

Bent tooth in the minute wheel would be my guess. Or a bent tooth somewhere in the dial train, at least. Has it been worked on recently?

Not recently no. I guess I'll just take it for servicing, no point in risking damaging it further.
