These markers are not onyx nor printed but shiny and well defined and they catch light like crazy.

I have the same model with a silver dial and a manual wound movement (cal. 610).

This one is from 1961 and yes, they are very good watches! I like the fact that this was still part of the Seamaster line back then, just a more dressy version of the classic watch. It fits every outfit and every situation, I'm even wearing mine on a tweed strap right now as you can seen. I hope you'll get it for the price you're asking.
Yum- and where did we get the tweed strap?

I’d never have thought of getting one (and still don’t) but I googled 'Harris Tweed watch strap' and, to my amazement, anyone who wants one will be spoilt for choice 😀

I’ve always thought they looked fun. Winter strap to the max!

Arrived today and this dial is simply stunning! 😉
Take that stunner outside and get some raking sunlight across the dial- then show us a pic of that!

Looking good! Enjoy it!
Already enjoying it very much! There is one problem though my wife does not enjoy it so much... 😉 Anyhow big thank you to all the great OF members in this thread that helped me to make the right decision. I would be regretting not getting my very first Seamaster for months, if not years. 😉
