I was after an Omega with a black dial with gold hour marks. I have this beautiful watch that looks amazing in person but difficult to photograph. Please see attached photos and will appreciate any help re if the dial is refinished or original?
Can add more photos if needed.

No serifs, writing too fat/not sharp, some letters are wonky, the minute hashes are all over the place, Swiss Made is incorrectly centered… It’s a redial, I’m afraid.

Edit: If I may add, the case is also heavily polished and has lost all its form, the crown appears incorrect, judging from the bit that’s visible on one picture.
Regardless: You say you like it, so unless a return is possible and you’d actually be interested to follow that path, I’d say wear it, enjoy it. 😀

Thank you so very much re your valuable input. I polished it myself with Cape Cod not sure if it's the wise thing to do? And yes you're correct the crown is incorrect.

Depends. Did you cape cod it 24/7 for a week or so? 😁
But seriously: That’ll be due to a polishing wheel, cape cod will make it shiny but won’t remove a lot of material.

Hahahaa… 😁😁
I don’t do cape cod but just for few minutes. I am not a big fan of polishing wheel either.
