··Oooo subtitles!I would put the value maybe slightly lower. The watches Omega launched in the late 1970s and early 1980s are not well received today as they were rather more workmanlike that what came before or after. Also plated watches tend to be less desirable than steel or solid gold so I imagine at an ebay auction that would make more like €300-500.

·I also think the a more appropriate value will be about 400 Euro and indeed the steel version of the watches are more desirable by collectors. So I think it is better to keep the watch for memory of your father. As a gold plated watch it look nice with the plate still in position.
