Love all your photos. Here are mine.
Love a blue aqua terra just i dont think it will outshine my modern vintage seamaster electric blue per se will be another awesome blue.

For the fun here are photos of my two watches and the two 3rd gen Aqua Terras.

Silver (white) is my first choice, then black. Between blue and gray...touch choice, I'd probably lean blue, slightly. The gray looks really good in person.

I love the 2nd Gen Skyfall; but in my nature I hate being ripped off! Currently this piece if found grey market online, no warranty is anywhere between same price as the new blue; and up to 10% higher in price. Whilst the skyfall is almost perfect, one argument for the new one is its less simple.

Irrespective of whether you go for Gen 2 or the latest variant there’s still plenty of good deals to be had on the second hand market with plenty of warranty left over. I’d recommend looking at some of the more reputable Japanese sellers on Chrono24 for competitive pricing. Being in Australia, i generally find their pricing to be the most competitive relative to other markets...

Silver dial, no question.

To use a very fashionable word these days, everyone needs "diversity" - including you and your collection.
Why have to blue dialed watches, when you could add a "diverse" silver dial to go with your blue Seiko and blue SMP ?

Ok time to update. I actually bought the 2nd gen Black. mainly due to being practical classy colour and got a good deal.
In summary, I didn't like it. I honestly prefer and missed the SARX035 I bought many years ago and sold last year. But it got disontinued and prices skyrocketed since. I will keep my SARX047 and look for a sportier watch.
As much as I love the 2nd Gen Blue in photos; I can't imagine the colour change will do it for me.
I honestly think once something is discontinued it tends to be idolized not necessarily to levels of sanity with what the watch is; and it's opinions and subjective anyway.
Don't want to be bashing Omega, still my favourite brand, but I think I've moved on from the Aqua Terra's altogether and will be looking at Semaster 300 in White. All my Omega's are sporty, and maybe I subconsciously only like these sporty ones who knows. I wanted to give an honest and true update to this question I posted above. In the end I think the 3rd gen AT's are underrated way too much bashing in forums infact that horizontal pattern is way more detailed and intricate than the horizontal lines, given the specs and the details on the watch and the price which when used is selling at competitive prices I think it's a decent watch, I may revisit the Omega boutique and have another look at 3rd Gen AT Vs Seamaster in White.
