·This one arrived on my doorstep a few days ago, and I am really pleased!
It was attached to a horrible bracelet that I took off, and attached a Tropic strap instead (for now).
The dial looks very clean, but the minute hand has lost some lume and also has some oxidation, so this has to be adressed in the future.
The 4 o’clock indice has lost a small piece of lume.
There are some small white spots, but these are on the crystal, maybe a few from the lume of the minutehand lying on the dial.
Some small scratches, and a little ding on one side near the left lower lugg.
But the worst thing is the very scratched caseback…. a bit boring with this…😒
Serial nr 2370xxxx places the watch as a 1966 - YAY, my Birthyear!!
It has the caliber 601 movement.
Measures 34 mm, so it might take some time to get used to?
The auction house could not open the watch, so I had to guess about the reference.
And thanks to this lovely post/thread, a found a similar watch.
Thanks @Davidt !!
👍👍👍
I also found an older salespost here, this one was very helpful using to to compare.
Thanks @flqt-9000 !!
👍👍👍
I have written this before, but the Forum and its members are amazing, everything you need to know is right here!!
A few things that I am uncertain about - the crown - is it a replacement?
The crystal does not have the omega logo, so it must have been replaced?
Since someone managed to scratch the caseback, they might have changed the crown and crystal?
Please do comment on the watch, and enjoy the pictures!
