Hi everyone, sharing with you the latest addition to my collection. I was in search of some bright colored dial and this one made me very happy.
Year 1998 - 3511.12 pre-Schumacher Japan edition Caliber 1155 With ETA 7750 Integrated Chronometer.
Amazing conditions for a 20+ years old watch ! The yellow is super bright and makes it a very nice summer watch. I spent 2k euros including the custom duties for the import from Japan.
According to “history of Omega Speedmasters” it was a color variation of the 3511.50 made specifically in yellow for the Japanese market. Interesting article as well from some auctioneers. Enjoy the weekend!

Unique watch, but I don't think it's vintage, it's modern instead?

Hands look very unique, carbide-like in your photos

hello, thank you. This specific piece is from 1998, but the model came out in 1991 so being 31 years old watch model is soon entering the vintage arena.
I have read the whole seamaster history and so far this should be the only full yellow speed (reduced) dial ever made from Omega (the Schumi 96 model has a chequered flag subdial). As for the hands I think it is just the reflection as they are steel classic 😀
