Thanks guys.
I'm glad everyone thinks it's high. I was thinking they were roughly at the £3k mark

It's my favorite Seamaster and I've been waiting forever for Omega to reissue it. I finally gave up and had one "made"... 🥰

Thank you very much guys for your replies and opinions. My point is that I really love that Omega SeaMaster 300 but here in UK the price of a vintage one are literally rocketing... nowadays we are talking over 6K for one in medium (not excellent) conditions.

My 30th birthday is coming in 6 months and I have 3 different watches in my mind with different prices:
- zenith el primero 38 mm
- omega SeaMaster 300 watchCo
- Glashutte Original panomatic lunar

The price of the Omega is so lower than the other 2 that I'm really tempted to go for one of those. That's my dilemma...

Obviously you are the only person to make this call...but thinking aloud: I presume the Zenith El Primero your are looking at is is a new version , right? In my opinon, it comes down to the following factors

1) what speaks most to your heart
2) which watch can you wear / enjoy most often (pratical considerations)
3) how much money are you comfortable to spend for a very good example

All of them are nice, i would tend to lean towards either the El Primero or an all original SeaMaster 300.

Let us know what you do...we will love to see the pictures of the watch on your wrist.

Best,

Stefan

I own one. Love it.

(That's a 1998/840 bracelet btw)

I'm unaware if Omega will service these, though because they are authorizing the assembly, I would have to think so. But I've been wrong (many) times before! [emoji23]

thats a phantastic watch of yours! I love it.

Mine (and I suspect most others) has Super Luminova.

They are all Luminova - one way you can tell that these really aren't "new old stock" parts, but just new replacement parts. Omega stopped using tritium in the late 90's.

Really time for Omega to make an official re-issue of this beautiful model.

Chances are they'd try to "improve" it with sapphire and larger dimensions. It is such a finely balanced piece as it is! I'm astounded to see the prices of these now, mine cost less than US 2300 to build back in early 2014!
