Serial number puts it in a 1966/67 production range, so that fits perfectly to the bezel... but the dial from that period should rather be a trapezoid style, not a big triangle So both, dial and hands were maybe changed during a service. At least to original parts. So still a nice found.

Sounds like it passes muster. I’d keep it as a family heirloom and get an appraisal for insurance purposes. A watchmaker could give you a good idea of the value.

I’d have the independent watchmaker service the movement and clean it, but not polish it nor replace hands/dial/bezel.

https://omegaforums.net/threads/1966-seamaster-crosshair-is-it-a-redial.100505/#post-1310743 not the best example of asking if it's authentic or redial but u can tell the OP from here has done at least some form of identification and he's asking for opinions. (Granted he could offer macros of the dial for clarification etc) but it's obvious he's studied Abit before asking for opinions

So wait, there’s a study requirement that needs to be fulfilled before asking questions here? What sort of nonsense is that? This is a free and open forum, experts and novices are free to post questions and start conversations, just as you’re free to ignore them. You seem to have enough free time to post three times in this thread about how the OP didn’t complete enough pre-work before posting. Why not use that time to offer help and share knowledge, just as someone did for you at some point in the past. Alternatively you could just ignore the thread if it bothers you. That’s an option as well.

And a no dot 24, even better👍

other dial and hands, circa 1/67 per extract.
