I bought this watch about ten years ago cannot remember why exactly but had completely forgoten it, it has lain in a drawer whilst I concentrated on older vintage models.
It has an 824 strap and an 824 Omega clasp there is a number stamped on the underside of one of the lugs
but it is rather dirty and my old eyes can not make it out yet - maybe when daylight comes tomorrow.
Can you tell from the photo what sort of age this is?
Cheers

One tip, that has a stainless steel bezel inlay (rather than the anodised aluminium insert used on other models) and can be polished with Cape Cod or similar back to a good condition. The 2255 is the same and this is a pretty big advantage over the blue or black bezel models. The dial on yours is showing a problem over on the RHS, several older 60s and 70s blue Omega dials did this, I've not noticed it on an SMP though so there may have been water ingress maybe.
