Morning, new member here. I would appreciate some advice/pointers having spent some time researching myself without coming to a satisfactory conclusion.

I have been negotiating with a seller of the above, the timepiece is in pretty good condition, includes box and papers. The serial number on the International Warranty card matches the one on the watch lug and the original Omega price "tag". The International Warranty card is dated 26/10/2007 however the watch number 901641** would appear to indicate that because the serial number is in the 90,000,000 range the watch is actually a 2010 watch. Also the "Globe" etching is not on the watch.

I have researched the Omega serial numbering system and whilst many believe that its correct I note that some say its not set in stone. Also it would appear that not all Seamaster 2221.80.00 had the "Globe" etching post 2003 ?. I have a 2017 Seamaster 300m Diver that does have the "Globe" etching.

I would appreciate any guidance from members.
