hi
i have a seamaster 1952 that I´ve got from my uncle 5 years ago before he died, I wonder if there's a type number on this watch I can't find it

I doubt that is from the very early 50s, the caseback and logo design look a little later than that. If you remove the back the details you need are the inscriptions on the inner back and also the movement number. Then it can be accurately identified and dated.

I’d say more like early 60’s. Maybe a reference 14389 or something similar.

No need to open a new account each time you post!

Put up a picture of the inside of caseback and movement when you can and we'll date it for you properly, but as I say, I really can't see how the watch is that early so maybe he was given it for a slightly later life event in the late 50s/early 60s
