Just picked up this nice. Omega runs great 1951 by the serial number 353 bumper movement. It's the first bumper movement omega I have added to my collection. Seems to work really well.

This looks like a redial to me. Hopefully, you didn't spend too much!
I noticed that too, but didn't want to say 🙁 Also, the movement is pretty filthy looking, so hes probably in for a service ASAP. There is also something odd in that pivot on the automatic bridge that I hope is just a bad reflection,

Always tough to tell redial, at high magnification I don't think it's a redial, but I'm not an expert. I paid 500. And yes, I am going to take it in for servicing, and have my watchmaker tell me what he thinks. Thx

Both pivots (oscillating weight and pawl wheel) look to have dirt/oil residue around them. At least I hope that's what it is.

Original dial? Hard to tell from that photo, but it doesn't look too bad if it is.

I'm thinking of sending it to Bennisson for authentication, I think they're pretty good from what i've heard and they work with Grazile

No need to get it authenticated, it’s certainly genuine. Unfortunately it’s also a definite redial but that doesn’t need to impact your enjoyment of it.

Get it cleaned and enjoy the watch. Don’t worry about the dial
