Hi all,

I have a Seamaster 120 166.027 with a bezel that is a little sticky when turning. I was thinking of cleaning out the gunk underneath. Are you able to just use a couple of credit cards to pop it off? If so, does it snap back on like the submariner bezels or would it require a press?

Thanks.

You can relive them with a good case knife if you know what you’re doing.

They do snap back on but sometimes the spring needs some adjustment.

I wouldn’t try this unless you’ve done it before and you have a good watchmaker on standby. It’s a little harder/finicky when compared to the rolex bezels
