··LemaniacFrom my private collection here is a beautiful Omega classic ref 2791-8 HW Caliber 267. It dates to around 1958/59 based on movement serial number 16358316.
The 267 manual wind movements were used in the famous Omega Ranchero. It was also used in a number of Seamasters which were subsequently nicknamed Seamaster Ranchero's. This is one of these.
The watch is in a very good condition for its age. The dial is original/unrestored, however the “Omega” and “Seamaster” printing has become somewhat blurred. It does not distract from the beauty of this classic Seamaster.
The watch is running well and keeping good time (Timegrapher says 290deg amplitude and +4sec/day!). It was recently checked and oiled by a watchmaker.
Case: Excellent condition, with only very minor marks. Good sharp edges.
It measures 35mm in diameter without crown. 18mm lug width.
Caseback: Good condition – snap on.
Movement: Clean caliber 267. Running well. Recent check/service.
Dial: Original (no redial). See pictures for condition. Some fading to typing. This shows on macro photos, but not in real life!
Hands: Original (unrestored).
Crystal: New Omega replacement (signed).
Crown: Signed Omega.
Strap: Good condition, dark brown genuine leather strap with unsigned stainless steel buckle.
Price: EUR425 + shipment at cost. OBRO
Shipment: The watch and I are located in Norway. I will be helpful to assist in keeping import taxes at reasonable levels. Shipments may also be arranged from within the European Union (will normally be possible about once every 14-days). Only tracked shipments accepted from my side.
