From sale is an uncommon and classic Omega Seamaster 30 with a very clean structured dial. Case: Unpolished, nearly factory original condition case with all sharp edges. Case measures approximately 35mm without crown and 42mm lug to lug. Original signed crown. Caseback: Great condition screw down caseback with crisp Seamaster hippocampus engraving. Inside is marked 125.003-62. Movement: Clean appearing caliber 269. I do not know the service history of this watch and would recommend a service if intended for daily wear. When winding, it feels like there is slipping of the mainspring. However, the watch is running with minimal loss of time overnight. 19mil serial dates this watch to about 1962. Dial: Original unrestored dial in excellent condition with gold tone markers and hands. This is the uncommon variant of the reference with number markers at 12-3-9. Usually this reference has simple baton markers. There is loss of lume dots at 3 and 6 o’clock, noticed only under close inspection. See pictures for condition. Large crosshair subdial at 6 o’clock. Hands: Original hands. There is minimal lume loss in the minute hand, difficult to photograph and not noticed at a distance. Crystal: Unmarked crystal, possibly original. Strap: Generic inexpensive black leather strap with unsigned stainless steel buckle. For this lovely unpolished Seamaster 30, I am asking $600, which includes shipping in the USA.
