Omega Reference 168.041 Bracelet Links

Hi All,

I have a vintage Omega Constellation Ref 168.041 that is about 1 link too small (or possibly 2). From my (admittedly very novice) measurements, the links on the clasp are c. 15mm in width.

I have tried clasp extenders and unfortunately they do not fit the bracelet. My local watchmakers/repairmen have noted that it is a rarer bracelet and don't have any idea where I could find a link or two that might fit. I would like to wear the original bracelet as possible as I think it nicely complements the dial. If anyone has any suggestions on where I could find a link or two that would fit, I would be very grateful! They don't have to be original or even Omega.

Thanks very much

This looks like a 1175 bicolor bracelet, can you show a pic from the clasp with the stamped numbers ? Do the endlinks have stamped numbers?

kind regards, Max

Annoyingly the bracelet does not have the reference no. stamped on it. The end links look like they have "311" stamped on them, but it is very small (see attached).

The 311 endlinks are new to me, from the shape of the steel parts it looks like a 1175 ti me.

Does it have a stamp like this on the blades of the clasp?

Does the 9-75 mean anything or should I just assume it's a ref 1175 bracelet and try to find links for that? I appreciate everyone's help so far.

9-75 indicates the month/year of production to me and is also a hint it might be a 1175. From the shape of the links it looks like a 1175. So worth a try looking for 1175 bicolor links,

kind regards Max

Set up saved search on ebay

Also search here in Watch Parts and Accessories- you are not eligible to post Want to Buy (WTB) as new member but you can search the For Sale listings and contact seller and buy here in OF:

Click on down arrow next to black FORUMS tab at top
Advanced Search
Search Threads
Keywords- Omega endlink 1175
Prefixes- choose FS
Search in Forums- choose Watch Parts and Accessories
Click SEARCH box at bottom

Good luck! The bicolor may be hard to find- you never know!
