I haven't seen a ton a black applied logos like this. Any thoughts on if this is original?

It might not be black, the hands look that way too. You'd want to ask for a different angle.

Here is another angle...you guys were right. I do think 2k is a bit steep for this. I'm going to reach out about the service history but I think without proof of professional service, I'm going to keep looking.

I personally think 1000 is more an accurate price looking at comparables, what do you all think? I ask because I'm visiting this physical store and would like a ballpark just to even think about negotiating. But this seems just way to expensive to bother with negotiating.

If the watch hasn't been serviced, I'd guess that about 400 USD is what it would get on eBay, unless I'm missing something about watch that makes it more valuable (I'm a novice, and if I'm wrong more experienced members will correct me in time). The value of a service would depend on where you live. For me in Texas, it's at least $300, but I hear lower quotes around.
