Omega Reduced Marui 3510.21

Hello all,

I am new to this forum. I have a small collection that I am looking to add to. I came across the 3510.21 which really interests me. I am digging into the variations and understand there are originals and builds. Only interested in the original, but understand they are hard to come by.

Do they only come in one size, 38mm case? I've seen some shown as 36mm. Any tips as to where to find a nice one? Am I better off in terms of resale paying up for one with papers and a box?

Hi Joe,

Yes, the Marui only comes at 38 mm (Omega Speedmaster reduced). you can also find the Omega Speedmaster Mitsukoshi (much higher premium) at 42mm. Also limited run for the Japanese market.

Be weary of modifications if you are looking for an original model.

Resale on the mitsukoshi will be greater and more sought after IMO if you have the full set, I assume the same is true for the Mauri, but there is less demand for it.

As to sourcing it, look on the FS forums, watchrecon, chrono, etc.

You should be able to find one with patience as mentioned the 38 mm is less of a demand.
I would make sure to get a complete set.
When you find one post pics here for the true experts to make sure its all kosher.

Thanks, I'll keep my eye out for one. There are a few that range in condition and accessories (box/paper) on ebay and chrono24, that range in pricing. What is a good market value proxy for a nice one with box/papers?
