Does your friend know you've posted his watch here on OF? Maybe he does'nt want to know.

Yes. Of course.
Is the bracelet a reproduction also?
Endlinks aren’t factory.
What it looks like you have here is a frankenredial. The movement is a genuine Omega movement (although looking rather abused) and that’s probably about all that is as it left Omega. It may be a factory case (need to see the inside of the case back) and the dial may have been a factory silver dial under that paint at some point. But this watch didn’t leave the factory looking like that.
Does this seriously belong to a friend of yours or is it yours? No shame if you got shafted on this- we have all paid the “noob tax” for being impulsive and not doing our homework. Sometimes it’s just a spanking, sometimes it’s a head wound.

Thinking the same because... if I was an awesome friend who loaned out my watch to a buddy who then posted it on a watch forum -and- started pulling it apart to get opinions... well, I'd be a less than awesome friend the next time my buddy and me hung out together.
I'm being honest with you as I hope everyone is being honest with me. I really like the watch and watches in general. My friend and I both enjoy vintage watches and I wanted to get more information. I asked for his permission to post and will take it down if he tells me to.
Does this matter? The OP is asking for opinions about the watch, not about friendship.....
