I just came across this Railmaster new editionn and don’t know what I feel about it, quite like it. What do you think and anyone know if it is a limited edition or just another Omega ?
Some past threads ( get it threads ) https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-railmaster-denim.75199/ and the jeans to match https://omegaforums.net/threads/selvedge-denim-fades.64809/
It's actually pretty nice in person, especially the strap. The dial is basically like a classic linen dial, just blue. The strap is lined in that beautiful caramel-colored leather that you can see on the keepers, so the blue denim effect is only on the outside. If it's something that interests you, I suggest checking it out in person at a Boutique or AD
On a somewhat related note, does anybody know the part number of this coated nylon strap or how to buy it? I'd like to see what it looks like on a Speedmaster...
Walk into an Omega Boutique and ask, they'll usually order straps for you. It doesn't resemble anything that Jean Rousseau offers on their own, so your best bet is official channels.
Thanks for the note. I've found a picture that shows the part number: CWZ007427 but haven't found a source for new. Couple people selling their used ones...
I really like the new Railmaster (non denim edition) It just wears a little too big for my liking. Wish it was a 36/38, but it’s not so I get to save my money.
I think I'll end up ordering it from the OB. Would probably look even better on a vintage Speedmaster due to the two-stitch color...
I took this strap off of my Railmaster and now that I see it on the Speedy, I want it on there so thanks!
The watch the OP shows is the 1957 Trilogy RM LE, a rather different Railmaster with a smaller thinner case which comes with a catch stitch leather strap, no denim in sight. Was the photo changed?
