·Hi guys, just bought me an Omega Seamaster 200 full size automatic at an auction. Really happy since I'm been searching for this model for a while now.
Quick backgroundstory; This model was my first "real" watch which I bought in 1993. Me and my wife spent our honeymoon in Paris and we went by this omega dealer close to the Arch Thriump. As I stood in the window watching this great watch my wife said I should buy it. And I did. Was treated real nice although we were young and probably looked very poor. Happily I left with the watch of my dream. 3 days later I was just walking in my hometown when a elderly man strolled by me and hit my watch with his sharp and pointy umbrella-end. My bezel got really scratched and the man wouldn't take any responsibility. His first respons was that I should not swing so much with my arms?! That scratch ruined it for me and later on I sold the watch therefore. But since then I have regretted that so now, almost 30 years later I have finally bought It back. This time its a keeper.
