Picked this up at my local flea market today. Has a nice case that looks original.. was wondering if anyone could date this watch, or would I need to take the dial off to get the movement numbers? Case has a nice scene on it which I think is Joan of arc but correct me if I'm wrong.. anyway the case is either 800 silver or higher, looks like sterling to me

Nice find. I like the case....Patria means "country" in Latin right? I thought joan of arc had famously short hair. Maybe it's supposed to be Boudica from British history and the watch reflects the colonial jingoistic fervour of the early 1900's which would be my best guess....Others will know, but they'll want to see the numbers..

I read that, patria is "native country or homeland" and I know omega made watches under this name

I traded a Venus 170 chronograph no name watch for it, and the only reason I did that is because of the significance of patria to omega and the scene.. If it didn't have this case and look so original I probably wouldn't have traded.. now I kind of don't want to get ride of it.. lol
