Hi there,
I have just bought a speedy SS 2022 model. Doing all the checks that you do when you buy preowned.

Just checking the watch instruction book matches to the date of watch production (I.e. is the original manual with the watch box). What does I/24 mean and does it match with this model?

It means it is the 24th version of the book. The date of publication can be found in the small print at the bottom of I think the last page. It would be about right for 2022. The version of instructions pertinent to a given watch is often indicated on one of the warranty cards.

Thanks - so looks like the book is made in Sept 2019. It makes sense the book would be preprinted a year or two before the watch. My only concern is it contain instructions for a butterfly extension on the bracelet and the model I have doesn’t have an extension??
Thanks the warranty starts 2022 - date of purchase from a UK watch shop.

Hello!

I bought a Moonwatch 3 days ago, brand new from local AD.
My week was busy, so just today I was able to just sit and admire my new watch and check everything like the packaging etc.

I couldn't help but notice that the manual in the box was an older version and did not match the one suggested on the pictograms.
Needless to say, that instructions for calibre 3861 are not included in this older version.

Is this something normal or should I address it to my AD?

With only hacking new to the moonwatch do you really need a manual to know how to operate the watch?

I do know how to operate the watch.
I guess you would give the same reply if my message was refering to a missing manual from a brand new watch.

I do not need it.
However I would like to be as it should.

No I wouldn't.

My Apollo 11 also came without the 3861 mentioned in the manual, no problem for me.

I actually never even check which manual edition is in the box, I wouldn't be concerned.

If it irritates you then yes you should request v24 as per the card. They really should have given you the right one.

I've always found the instructions to be too basic and useless. But you should have the one for your movement.
