·They are a lot thicker than 'normal' natos, so they make the watch sit much higher on your wrist. I may use the Ti buckle off the one that came with my Apollo 11 45th, but the strap itself was next to useless for me.

Have to say, it looks pretty good Spy!
Since I did not read one negative feedback about it from the guys who have it, I think it's safe to say the quality is pretty good (above the "regular" straps). However, I don't recall reading any negative feedback about the "regular" straps either, so it may be pretty safe to say that also those ordinary nato straps are pretty ok in terms of quality.
am I willing to pay around 1,000%-1,500% times more to get an incremental increase in quality of less than 100%? Or, better yet, should I go with a (slightly) better quality Omega nato strap or should I buy 10-15 different ordinary nato straps that are pretty decent and that I can wear in rotation for a whole month without getting bored?

I wish the buckle on my OMEGA Nato had a screw to anchor it to the strap rather than a pin. There is a seller on eBay that sells JB straps with a fantastic buckle that uses a screw for easy changing.

I wish these weren't so expensive!
There are people wearing Casio's that want OMEGA's but think the same thing. If you want one, just buy one if only once.
Just can't bring myself to do it for a fabric strap (not crapping on anyone that did, I think it is gorgeous).
And I can't live by that maxim, otherwise I would have one of everything.
I understand. But go to a boutique and ask to look at one.
