I took a look at a few of them. I did notice right away, for the ones I'm familiar with, that there were a lot of redials and replaced bits and pieces. Prices are decent and take into account for that (mostly), but also many parts are pretty much unobtainium.

Ah, I see. I was wondering why there wasn't perhaps more interest but if the watches were not the finest examples I can see why collectors might leave them alone. Personally I quite liked the American Military ones. The Benrus and Bulova. I wish I had spotted this auction earlier.
