Omega Mark II different stamp on the case back

Hello I have a question regarding my Omega 145.014. I have noticed that on the case cack I have a different stamp.
Please look at the photo instead of Omega mark I have no 2. Do you know guys where is this difference coming from.
Is dated on 1970

I don’t think it is a “2” I believe it is a case makers mark and from what I see it is badly stamped, and should look something like this. Sorry for the bad drawing, just don’t feel like opening any of my watches.

Thnak you for the answer, I just check with magnifying glass, and you are right, it was badly stamped 😉

I don't know if this was the intent, but I always think of this stamp as a stylized diver's helmet.

Dan, yes, it was almost certainly intentional on behalf of EPSA

Please see attached ( apologies for lifting this from another www) - i went deep into EPSA when i noticed this symbol on quite a few of my Omega and Tissot
