Hi all,
I've an Omega Seamaster Mariner 1 that I have damaged while changing the battery. The battery went in fine, however when replacing the case back I have shattered the crystal 🤦. I even bought a press and I've managed to get it right sealing other similar case backs. Clearly a skill issue.

Fortunately I was able to source a replacement crystal but understandably I'm not too keen to mangle it again.
Looking at the case interior there seems to have been some damage to the inside lip and perhaps that is where the issue in replacing the crystal lies.....

Any recommendations or suggestions for a watch repairer sympathetic to vintage quartz who might be able to take a look, replace the crystal and check out any other potential defects? I'm already contacting Swiss Time Services but interested in any other ideas. I'm London based.

Cheers 👍
Chris
