Omega JDM Connie 168.0065: Is this a redial?

Hi all, I've recently stumbled upon a very good example of the JDM Connie Ref 168.0065. Everything looks super clean, including the dial makes me question if it ever got a redial. I've tried comparing the fonts and markers with all other photos I could find on the Internet and it doesn't point me to a redial. Assuring yet?

One thing that bugs me though, the marker at 7 oclock. The bottom doesn't seem to be touching the edge of the inner dial. Is that normal?

To be honest, I’ve never seen a redial on this reference. It could be that the marker fell off at some point and wasn’t repaired with precision.

Other than that, I have no explanation.

Thank you, sorry for not being clear. I wasn't referring to the indices. But the painted black marker above it. Notice theres a tiny gap between the black ink and the pointed border of the upper dial

Dial seems absolutely fine. The case not so much, though - there's only one lug visible, of course, but that's definitely seen quite some polishing.

Thank you. I was told that the lugs remain sharp, seems so to me but maybe you can tell me more?

Nope - I'll withdraw my statement indeed, the first pic you posted seems to have the layer of the dial/top of the lug in focus, the rest of the lug not so much. Thanks for the further pics, they do indeed show pretty sharp edges 😀

Just armchair logic here, but it’s hard to conceive of a redial that gets everything perfect except for one infinitesimal point. It’s far easier to imagine that marker not being flagged as a problem at the factory than to believe it’s the one thing the redialer overlooked, in my opinion. Looks like a very nice watch.
