So ive tried this watch on the AD and the bracelet are super comfortable, i think this might be the best steel and unpolished bracelet since the rolex oyster.
And the size of the dial is just right.

What do you think about this watch?

I think it is a truly great watch, but I'm biased! Make sure you do your homework on market prices before committing to buy though. There should be plenty of room for negotiation at an AD, less so at an official boutique (but they can offer other fringe benefits)….which reminds me I should take mine in to get the water resistance checked.

One of Omega’s most underrated and desirable offerings IMHO, particularly with the blue dial/stainless steel bracelet. And it’s METAS certified to boot. A really nice watch.

Total sleeper hit, and one of my favorite modern Omegas to date.

Indeed. In fact it benefits (or rather any potential buyers benefit) from anti-hype pushing the re-sale value down, just don't pay full retail price.

The stainless steel/tungsten carbide bezel versions generally go for $4,600-$5,200 on the grey market, depending on choice of dial color and strap/bracelet. Roughly 30% off retail. Not sure what ADs are getting.

I think none of your 27 posts today make sense.

It doesnt have to make sense for you if it can make sense for someone else.

The AD is offering me IDR 90,000,000 after discount which are around USD 6,000.

If you intend to buy the watch on the bracelet, I would suggest that you ask the AD to sweeten the deal by throwing in the Omega alligator leather strap with deployant clasp for a substantial discount.

Too high. The new METAS hype is over. It’s a somewhat polarizing model. White isn’t the most popular. Push for $5k and a leather strap with deployant clasp. If they baulk at that just say you will buy the best used you can find for circa $3,5k.

Here’s mine. I absolutely love it, so my opinion maybe biased. I made the rookie mistake of getting it on the leather, but I eventually got the bracelet on eBay for half the retail price, so luckily actually worked out cheaper than had I done it the other way around.

I agree with the comments above, it’s definitely an under rated watch, and I’d say that the silver dial is even more under rated than the blue. The blue is definitely the favorite among many, but the silver did it for me. I feel you can’t go wrong with either.

I’ve worn it every day since I got it 6 months ago and it’s still special to me. I mostly wore it on the strap, but have changed over to the bracelet as it’s summer now. TBH I like both the strap and bracelet. The strap is very comfortable and feels lighter than the bracelet, but the bracelet seems to balance very well with the heft of the watch.

I actually find the bracelet makes the watch feel smaller on my small 6” wrist compared to the strap cause the bracelet blends seamlessly with the case which makes the dial contrast more and the lugs more hidden. I found the strap shows off the lugs more which on my small wrist makes the watch look bigger.

Either way I love the watch.

I find the Globemaster to be a nice solid watch, the problem is would I take it over a DJ41? No.

DJ41 have center polished bracelet right? For that reason i would choose the GM, but yes it depend to each own taste.

That is the exact same piece that i tried on AD, congrats on the acquisition.
If i ever buy one, i would also choose the silver dial

Thank you. I’m very happy with it and have no regrets. The silver seems plain to some people, but I find in person in different lighting there are many subtle variations on the dial that keep me continually interested.

Good luck with your choice.

I had one, sold to finance other watch and now thinking of adding it back to the collection. I love the dial in this watch.

I love the Globemaster! You can't go wrong with the dial color...it is just a stunning watch on its own! Like others, I do feel that it is an underrated watch, but it will be next on my list to purchase!
