·Hi I wanted to know the whether this Omega Geneve Automatic is authentic or not, there are several ref. numbers that look similar

It is also supposedly 18k gold watch.
Also this is not my watch therefore I could not open it to look at the case, but by judging on its appearance could it be authentic? Some versions indicate that it could be of Italian origin.
