Hi all!

This is my first post here, but I have been an observer for quite a while. I own this 166.039, which I fell in love with in my early days of collecting. It has been a sleeper for a while now and I have been wondering if I ought to sell it. But before I do so I would like to know if this is a franken dial. Can you help me out? Is this the real deal?

Can't be 100% sure, but I was able to find a manual wind version with the same markers and layout:

Hope this helps,

Interesting that the case fits both the manual and automatic versions of this watch:

It is most definitely legit. For the GD’s for gentlemen, Omega had well over 50 different color dials combinations. As well as 3 different types within each color combination. Think for example; no date, date, & day/date. For the lady models, there were over 100 in color combinations.

Thanks for great information, @CjJEEP!
