Hello everyone, apologies if this is a basic question—I'm new here. I have an Omega Geneve Dynamic from 1969 ref. 166.0079 (see picture). I'm looking to replace the leather strap with an original Omega steel bracelet so that it will look like this one https://www.timeline.watch/watch/1970-omega-geneve-dynamic-ref-166-0079/ Does anyone know where I can find an authentic one? I’ve heard there are many fakes out there. I visited a watchmaker here in the Netherlands, and they quoted me 1095 EUR for a new original steel bracelet, which is a bit out of my budget. A second-hand one in good condition would be fine too. My wrist is 19 cm. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I may have one in my junk box. I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know details.
Late here so I'm off to the sack.

Agree the original Omega bracelets are very comfortable. I regret letting mine go. But I still have a rare single deployant.

Found mine.

The bracelet clasp is marked 1286 / 249 which i've seen on other bracelets (not Dynamic) so I don't know if it's a copy and they just use numbers they've seen or if it's genuine OEM. Looks identical to all others I've seen though.

😕

Not sure but Desmond’s article on Omega Geneve Dynamic also mentions that they could come on a 1218/151, particularly later models.
