Omega Geneve - 70s - What you guys think? Back case is bothering me

I was ofered this watch, never negotiated with this seller before, price looks good based on the quality. But there is a problem in the back case (last pic) which is bothering me

It reads 166.0170, but that model would be a squared Geneva. From the Pictures this looks like a 166.0174 / cal. 1022.

The moviment looks legit, but the back case situation makes me a bit scared. Could it be that the back case has been replaced with the one from a 0170? Since they are the same back cases? Or this looks like a fake?

Other thing that I'm wondering is about the dial. The top marks at 12h it's only one line, I've seen 0174 models with that, but most that I've found is 2 line.

So what's the general perception here?

If we help out are you going to split some of the flipping profit with us?

I'm considering keeping it, but by the price that the seller is asking, I could also sell for some profit. So any help would be appreciated

Mmmm...perhaps this is why the asking price is what it is?

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering also, the back case bothered me, but I was wondering if is just that, or is anything else wrong with the watch?

You might find that “flipping “ watches for profit isn’t so easy. Particularly if it has issues.

Can't say I'm an expert on these, but most 166.0174 have a case back with an engraved Omega logo. The 166.0170 doesn't. You can always buy a loose case back and put the incorrect one for sale.

The rest of the watch looks fine to me. These aren't watches that collectors chase down, so don't expect to easily sell it for a profit.

In Brazil is slightly easier since omega are hard to find around here.
