    Hello Everyone,

I am turning again to this wise and amazing forum to collect some information.

I am an Omega vintage fan and I have acquired 2 of them during the past year (Since the beginning of my interest for this)

I recently came across some really nice pictures of "Omega Geneve 1st generation" and I am now looking for more information as they are really appealing to me =)
They are beautiful, very classy and apparently, some of them are available in a nice diameter size which is important for me due to my wrist size... 35mm is a minimum for me.

I did some searches but I cannot find any consistent source that will list the different models with pictures and specifications.
I also cannot find back the thread where a 36mm was mentionned ...

Here are the different models that I found.

Looking forward to your help on this.

    1. The 2754-3 which is a manual watch (Caliber 266) from 1954. 34,5mm diameter

    2. The 14702 which is a automatic watch (Caliber 552) from 1961. 34mm diameter

    3. The 14703 which is a automatic watch (Caliber 562) from 1961. 34mm diameter. This one has the date

    EDIT:

    4. The CK2904 which is a manual watch (Caliber 267) from 19XX. 36mm diameter.

    Gorgeous!

How easy / hard is it to come by?
Do you know if there are other references with a similar size ? Date ? Automatic ?

    EDIT :

The original Geneve was a superbly made watch. Not all are in the Omega database though - such as these two of mine:- A 1958 18kt ref 2981 - case by Cedex (Charles Dubois) in rosegold with a gold dial and 19J cal 491 auto [IMG] and a 1957 9kt Dennison cased ref 13332 with a 17J cal 267 manual - lovely patina on this one [IMG] In the 1950s, these Geneves were a prestigious watch and were positioned below the Constellation but above the Seamaster - then later in the 1960s they were 'repositioned' as an entry level watch and as such lost much of their collector appeal (IMHO). Cheers

    Tom, you are "Magic" !!

Hey world, I'm an impatient SOB and I want a nice 2179 Army and a perfect large case Art Deco porcelain !!!! I want a 2500 Centenary, too, but I'll have to give you my personal IOU for that one.

(Pause, waiting for the pm's to hit)
